Thanks to the irishgenealogy.ie site I have found several records which I believe pertain to my Goggin line. Catherine Goggin, my 3rd great grandmother was the wife of Patrick Houlihan according to baptismal records of their children. I haven't found the marriage record as yet but the baptismal records for Houlihan children all point to Catherine and Patrick as the parents. In doing the online research, I have found siblings of Catherine Goggin(1809) to include Mary(1814), Elizabeth(1826),David(1830), Michael(1823) and one whose given name nor gender(1816) were recorded. There may have been others as yet not found. All are the children of James Goggin and Mary Lucitt and all were baptized in Ballyferriter on the Dingle peninsula. If any of this seems familiar I'd love to compare notes.
