    3. I have been researching the Gallivan/Galvin name from Kerry. Have found quite a few connections to my tree all from around Castleisland, Scartaglin etc. My Great Grandmother was a Galvin - Hannah Galvin (married to O'Connor) born 1891 died 1930. Also on another note have a link to the Doody name too from lyracompane. My grandmothers sister in law was Mary-Ann Doody (nee Cremins) married to Maurice Doody, has a son Thomas (born around 1940's) who died as a child. -------- Mike Nolan http://twinpicture.com http://mikechristopher.com On 11 October 2010 08:50, cathy carley <[email protected]> wrote: > GDAY:) > Is anyone plese Researching the GALVAN Name from co Kerry > Have a Kate Galvan Married to a Thomas Doody..they were in duagh/listowel > Marriage Date unknown or where they Married > Thomas Doody was born circa 1834 > Thanks > Regards > Cathy:) > > > > _______________ > --------------- > > Policies of the IRL-Kerry List: > http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~irlker/mailing.html > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message. > > To subscribe to the Digest version of the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'subscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message. > > To visit the County Kerry Research and Resources Page go to: > http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~irlker/ > > Share your stuff!  If you transcribed research data, share it with the Irish genealogy community. 3. I have an Ellen Galvin, b. Ireland @1810, married to a John Hughes, b. Ireland @??. Two known children- Catherine, b. Ireland @1842, and Richard, b. Ireland @1850. Ellen Hughes and the two children came to the U.S. between 1850-1860. Catherine married Michael Quinn, b. Ireland @1840, around 1860-61. Can't find much on Richard, and nothing at all on John Hughes. Can't find a death cert. for Ellen Hughes, either, but she died between 1870 and 1875, in Cohoes, New York. Ann
