Hi Liz The passenger lists are only for 1849 and 1851 but the list does show a sailing to Quebec on the 22/5/1830 on the ship 'Brother'. If you give me the first names of your Slatteries, I will look for them. Looking at the sailings shown, the vast majority were for Quebec. There is a paragraph on passenger logs and they say that the authors found one page of the log in the possession of Dan Dwyer a publican of Blennerville. He explained that his father had cherished the register and had stored it in the attic. When his father died, his mother had the roof renovated and it rained heavily and the register got very wet. Mr Dwyer decided to throw the whole lot on the rubbish dump and burn them. A Johnny Walsh, a shop owner of Tralee, happened to be present and managed to save 3 pages but the authors could only find the 1 page. This was from the 'Lady Russell' which sailed on the 2/4/1853. My Slattery family came from Tralee to Quebec around 1830. If they immigrated from Tralee, would they be recorded in this book?
