Hi, Marge, For what it's worth, I have O'Connors as well. My only info is Bartholomew O'Connor, b. Ireland, married to Margaret ( ?), b. Ireland , and who was in the Middletown/Portland area of Connecticut when their son William H. was born in 1852. I have only tentative information after that on Barth. Margaret may have died between Wm's birth and 1860, when I find a Barth. O'Connor, with a different wife in Boston. There is a son William, of the right age to be his son. William married Margaret L. McCarty in Boston in 1872. There were three sons born, Bartholomew, Charles and William, all of whom died very young. the only daughter, Mary Ann, (b.1877), survived. She became my grandmother.
