    3. Thanks Ray for you sending us the "Estated Gentlemen" piece. I actually found someone on there, although I doubt that he was an "Estated Gentleman" It was an obit for a Richard Talbot (died in Eramosa Ontario) who was a brother to one of my maternal ancestors - Ann Talbot - both children of Ann Morphy and Thomas Talbot. What was so exciting for me was to see that these Talbots were from a Townland "Acres" near Killarney and further research this aft. found it in the Parish "Aglish" that I had never run into before. It's gotten me closer to where my Talbots actually came from. So thank you very much - I'm so appreciative! Violet p.s. Hi Larry!

    3. You're very welcome, Violet. that's the way genealogy works for most of us. Bits and pieces here and there. I've said more than once that if we were given an eight volume history of families when we were 18, we'd probably skim for it once, looking for pictures, and then never pick it up again. Think of how much fun we have when it takes us 20 or more years to discover sometimes the tiniest of tidbits. I for one would have been in much trouble, I would think, if I hadn't spent so much time in libraries. Ray Lots of rain today doing its dangdest getting rid of that pesky snow that is almost a distant memory now, in Minneapolis. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Violet Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2011 7:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [IRL-KERRY] Re; Ray's Contribution Thanks Ray for you sending us the "Estated Gentlemen" piece.
