The theme was based on a short story for children by Roddy Doyle specially written for today. The floats each illustrated a chapter from the book where a group of children tried to banish the Black Dog of Depression from Dublin city. Very relevant as it even had a scene showing the death of the Celtic Tiger. I suspect it may eventually make its way to utube so keep a look out for it.
