For several years, I have been seeking the marriage information of my great great grandparents, Edward/Edmond Barrett and Mary Corridan. Late last year, I saw a reply from a Paul Corridan on the Kerry mailing list regarding the marriage of Edward Barrett of Gortnaminch and Mary Corridan. Apparently the information was contained in the Lixnaw Register of marriages #9 of 1867...I'm hoping that the year is incorrect because some of the children were baptized earlier but does anyone know what the Lixnaw register of marriages might be? I can't find a corresponding date of marriage either on the irishgenealogy site nor on the familysearch.org site. Any advice would be appreciated.. Ed O'Connor
