I had thought that Carhubeg and Carrubog where the same place - but not so certain now. If it is not the same place - where is Carrubog? === Lib, I'm quite sure that there is no Carrubog. There are only two townlands in Kerry with "bog" in the name (thanks again, John Broderick), and they start with "B". Carhoobeg is in Knockane civil parish, a mile or so WNW of Beaufort village, jiust NW of Loch Leane. Cappaganneen is two miles south of Carhoobeg, also in Knockane civil parish. I won't be much help on the RC parishes, as I don't do any genealogy - and hence, I don't have to worry about the continual changes in the RC parish "boundaries"......the civil parishes have remained essentially constant since the 1830's, and they suit most of my needs (primarily archaeology). Mitchell's maps of the RC parishes, from his "A New Genealogical Atlas of Ireland", are based on the Catholic parish structures in the "middle years of the 19th century". Based on the Kerry map, it would appear that Carhoobeg is firmly in the Killorglin RC parish, while Cappaganneen is close to a border-line between Killorglin and Beaufort (Tough) RC parishes. That's a about all I have on the historical RC parishes (I'm looking for a good History of the Diocese of Kerry - Reidy's book seems to be "unavailable", although I'm still working on an ILL for it). The Tullamore you mentioned doesn't seem to be in the area at all. There might be a townland 'sub-denomination' called Tullamore in your area, but the only two actual townlands that would fit the name are Tullamore and Tulla More......and both of them are well-northish of Listowel. I think that's about it for now. If you have any further questions, drop me a line.
