Hello all and Happy New Year (a bit late!!) While I was looking for something else in the National Library catalogue I came across these photos taken around 1888 in the Glenbeigh area. They may be of interest to somebody. http://catalogue.nli.ie/Author/Home?author=Guy%2C+Francis Clare -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. Hi Clare, Have you any idea where I can write to regarding old wedding photos in Tralee? Did the photographers ever keep copies of photos back in those days like glass negatives and if so where would I look? Searching for a photo of my parents wedding in 1919 which did not make it to their house in Australia. in 1922. Many thanks for any help, Kind regards, Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clare Tuohy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 16, 2011 3:55 AM Subject: [IRL-KERRY] Photos c 1888 from Glenbeigh > Hello all and Happy New Year (a bit late!!) > While I was looking for something else in the National Library catalogue I > came across these photos taken around 1888 in the Glenbeigh area. Mary Sorry I have no idea - unless the photo was in a newpaper at the time which I think is unlikely. You could contact Kerry Library Local studies section and ask them. They may be able to make a suggestion as to where you could try. http://www.kerrycolib.ie/ Clare ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary" <[email protected]> To: "Clare Tuohy" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 17, 2011 11:30 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-KERRY] Photos c 1888 from Glenbeigh > Hi Clare, > > Have you any idea where I can write to regarding old wedding photos in > Tralee? > Did the photographers ever keep copies of photos back in those days like > glass negatives and if so where would I look?
