Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all... "May the strength of God pilot us, may the wisdom of God instruct us, may the hand of God protect us, may the Word of God direct us. Be always ours this day and for evermore. - St. Patrick" I am not new to this list, but I do not believe I have posted my family names to this list before. So, I thought today would be a fitting day to reach out, and perhaps connect with some of my Irish relatives. If I have posted before, please excuse my 'blonde moment'. Family surnames are: CONCANNON, HOLLAND/HOLLERAN, BROD(E)RICK, LALLY, WALSH, MULLINS, UNIACK, DONNELLIN/DONNELLEN/DONNELLAN, FLAHERTY, KILCOOLY, and perhaps more... These families came from the Co. Galway, near the Clare border. Townlands include: Knockouran, Gorteenboy, Derry Keel, Derry Brien, Derry Wee, Lisbrine, Gortadraghn, Kane's (Keanes) Pound, Peterswell, to name a few. Any help that anyone can give will be most gratefully appreciated. William CONCANNON (?-1863) m. ? ( d. after 1863) - Knockourane/Gorteenboy, Kilbeacanty, Galway Bridget CONCANNON 1843-? m.
