    3. Carol, What was your source for the name of the parish? I couldn't find it listed as either a civil parish or Roman Catholic Parish for Counties Galway, Clare, Mayo, or Roscommon in the Genealogical Atlas of Ireland. Sue Subject: [GALWAY] Kerabane Parish? 3. Carol, Were your ancestors Catholic? and if so, then, my guess would be that Kerabane is really Carrabawn - a name for a Roman Catholic district - phonetically, the two words are probably the same. In which case, it would really be Kilconeran civil parish http://www.from-ireland.net/lewis/g/kilconeran.htm Jane ----- Original Message ----- From: <Charris721@aol.com> To: <IRL-GALWAY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 7:40 PM Subject: [GALWAY] Kerabane Parish? > Hi, > Does anyone know where Kerabane Parish is in Galway?
