Mary Jo, The closest townland I could find was Ballynahattina, Baroney Tiaquin, Civil Parish Killosolan, Poor Law Union of Mountbellew. Ballynahattina is listed on a weather map as 2.7 nm south of Moylough. A Google Image search for Moylough Map will turn up a fairly detailed map of the area, but the town isn't listed on it. It is just outside of my Ordnance Survey Map 47, so I can't be more specific. Sue Where in Galway is/was Ballinhattina? Is there an on-line map that would show me? I think it is in East Galway.
