Dear Listers, I have been trying to trace an Irish family who later emigrated and settled in Liverpool back in Dunmore, District of Tuam, in Co Galway. Their two oldest children were born in Dunmore- John was born 1st December 1869 and Edward was born 29th November 1871. Presumably Edward, who was a labourer, and Bridget were married in a Catholic Church in Dunmore circa 1867-8. I also have reason to believe that Edward was born about 1837 and Bridget born somewhat later in about 1847. I would be most grateful to anyone who can help identify this marriage and/or trace the parents of Edward BURKE and Bridget MURRY and anyone who would like very full details of the subsequent fortunes of Edward and Bridget BURKE and their descendants in England will be most welcome. Yours Very Sincerely, Paul Newbury
