    3. Thanks! Ballygar was one our main areas of search. When we visited Ireland in 2004, we we stayed there (found lots of Naughtons and Nolans), and went through the old graveyard just outside of town--the new graveyard is behind the church, but the old one had headstones over 100 years old. We also visited the Parish office and school, and went through Griffiths Valuation with an "old expert". No luck!
