    2. Just checking to see how everyone is getting on with Otherdays, now that it is back on-line. I have sent about 6 e-mails to them this past week , as I am STILL unable to Log-in. It tells me my username and password are incorrect, and of course, they are not. No reply to my e-mails, which is pretty poor customer service. Is anyone faring any better? Any suggestions as to how to make them respond? Cathy

    3. I am having the exact same problem as you, Cathy. I have subscibed to Otherdays for a couple of years, but cannot log in - I get the message that my username is incorrect if I try to get my "correct" password. My email to them has not been answered. I think they are probably overwhelmed with the magnitude of the problem, kind of like everyone contacting the power company when they lose electircal power in a storm. There, you at least usually get a recorded message. It would be nice to have some "official" word from Otherdays about this. I realize they are a small company and cut them some slack for it, but it really would be nice to have *some* word from them. Today, the website does not even come up when I try to go to it. I also have not been able to get into Otherdays through the NGS [National Genealogical Society] Britain and Ireland Forum, a paid membership forum of the NGS. An NGS newsletter late last year advertised that there was also access to Origins through membership in the Forum. Since joining in mid-December, that feature (the main reason I joined, since I alread supposedly had access to Otherdays) has not been implemented. So I can access neither one of the Irish databases that I judge to be the main reason for joining the NGS Britain and Ireland Forum and to which I have paid subscriptions. Very frustrating! I'm afraid I have no suggestions about how to make Otherdays more responsive to our concerns. I just hope they can resolve their difficulties and get back online. 3. I tried Otherdays yesterday and managed to get through when I remembered my correct login andw as informed my subscription had expired which is correct. I have noticed in the past that I can only login from the internet provider with which I joined Otherdays. Has anyone else experienced this? Maire "Geralyn W. 3. Cathy, I just checked the Godfrey Library site this morning and Otherdays is still not listed. I know the library director, Tom Kemp, had said that he wasn't going to put it back online through Godfrey until everything was completely straightened out. Looks to me like things aren't quite right yet.
