    1. CLARKE - GAVIN - MANION - WADE - FOX
    2. I have been putting this off for years while working on another family line (KEEHAN/KEEGAN) but now I think I should begin work on my CLARKE line. Unlike my KEEHAN/KEEGAN line where I have to dig for every shred of info I can get, I have a ton of info on my CLARKE line but no records of verification. So now I would like to begin to verify the info I have and would appreciate tips on where and how. I also hope that maybe someone out there is also working on this CLARKE line and we can put our heads together. My great grandfather published the Clarke Family History in the 1940's. He travelled to Ireland and met many family members while there. While he has provided us with a ton of info, he didn't provide any sources for records. This is the task I have set for myself. Here is what I have: Malachy CLARKE b. before 1757 Galway m. about 1772 in Galway to Bridget GAVIN d. ? Children: John, Andrew, Jeremiah (Darby), Bridget and Sabina CLARKE. John CLARKE (son of Malachy & Bridget) b. before 1806 Galway m. about 1821 in Ireland (Galway?) to Mary MANION She is the daughter of William & Mary MANION - same names not related. d. ? Children: Mary, Patrick, Bridget, Julia, Sabina, Malachy, William, John and Catherine CLARKE. Patrick CLARKE (son of John & Mary) b. March 17, 1824 (of course), Greenville - near Killasolin, Galway emmigrated to USA: Feb. 27, 1850 (41 days at sea) m. Catherine WADE born Apr. 15, 1846 in Ballinahattina, Galway. She is the daughter of Hugh WADE and Catherine FOX. She emmigrated to USA: Feb. 1866. They were married in the States. My question is where do I go for what documents? I would also like to find where they are buried but at this point would be very happy to prove what information I already have. Please, could someone point me in the right direction? Thank you for any advice. Mary Jo
