Hi List, Can anyone identify a John Finnerty born 2 June 1867 in Galway,listed on the IGI as the son of John Finnerty and Catherine Costello. On the 1881 census for Bury Lancashire listed as born ??Lismeaton,and on the 1911 census as born in Lishmegan.Any ideas on where these towns may be? John Finnerty was my ggrandfather.
