    3. Having just confirmed from the 1911 census that family links take me back to Loughrea, Galway, I wonder if the following family has matches with any other subscribers: LARKIN, JOHN HEAD MARRIED M 39 LABOURER GENERAL IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, MARY ANN WIFE MARRIED 15 F 31 IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, THOMAS SON M 14 IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, MARY KATE DAUGHTER F 13 IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, PETER SON M 10 IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, NORAH DAUGHTER F 8 IRELAND LOUGH REA LARKIN, BRIDGET DAUGHTER F 3 LONDON LAMBETH LARKIN, DOREEN DAUGHTER F 11 MONTHS LONDON SOUTHWARK Could someone point me too in the direction of finding out where to find the marriage record for John and Mary Ann. In the census it was stated that they had been married for 15 years which takes me back to 1896 or thereabouts. Many thanks June McNeil <http://649371.sigclick.mailinfo.com/sigclick/04050A01/03004D01/03014F00/421 32411.jpg>

    2. Dear June, You can buy the civil registration or church registration of John Larkin and Mary Anne Mahoney on Irish Family History Foundation.? Married September 18 1896.?? Their marriage and children's births are also listed on www.familysearch.org Irish Index and this website.? On the 1901 cenus, found on the Roscommon-Leitrim website, ................... look for Mary. ? Also I just finished reading 51 pages of John Larkin's military records applying for pension with disablity listed as YSW Head due to previous A.S. (does anyone know what this YSW means, I assume AS is active service); Jacksonian and epilepsy.? If you don't have a subscription to ancestry.com, you might want to get a free trial or go to a library to read this report. It is a gem and even includes letters that Mary Larkin wrote.? I don't want to tell you too much of what I found because what fun would that be for you.
