Hello Everyone, I am new to this list. I am researching my Gt. Gt. Grandfather Patrick Comer, a coal miner, who was born in Ireland about 1843. In 1861 he was living in Bilston, Staffordshire. After this date he married Eliza Jones who was born in Broseley, Shropshire. At the time of the marriage Eliza was living in Bilston and I think Patrick was living with his father John Comer in Bilston. (I have found 2 Patrick Comers living with their fathers John in Bilston in 1861. One of them had a brother Mark and my Patrick named one of his sons Mark). I have been unable to find their marriage. Living close by were quite a few Comers from Galway. I have, as yet, been unable to connect them with my Patrick, but I am hoping that he too was from Galway. The children of Patrick (Patsy) and Eliza were as follows.
