I know I should not even send a message for this because I do not know what town or what parish my ancestor is from, but I am hoping someone will have some hints for me. I have been looking for so long. My ancestor, Edward Flaherty, was born on January 12, 1817 somewhere in Galway. I do not know his parents names or what town or parish. I do know he emigrated to the U.S. in 1851, spent some time in OHio and then they went to Baltimore, Maryland, where he lived until his death in 1882. I even know he is buried in New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore and have seen his grave. However, his gravestone only says from Galway and so does his wife's, Ann. It drives me crazy because I can't find where exactly in Galway. So, if anyone has any info, I would appreciate it tremendously. Thanks. Linda
