Many people from Connemara especially from the Lettermore area  were transplanted to Rathcairn,Meath.in the first half of the last century as a social experiment. They would like people to have a look at their site which gives information on the current day descendants and their lives. thank you for posting the Athboy site. My husband's uncle and cousins were transplants. Families are still there. O'Mealloid I don't see the link to descendants and their lives unless you mean the newsletter. Thanks for passing it on. Karin Joyce
