Have you checked out the "Quarterly returns of births in Ireland, 1864-1955, with index to births, 1864-1921" available from the FHL? The 1871 index of births is film 101048, 1870 is 101047, and 1872 is 101049. Granted there will most likely be more than one Mary Flaherty born each quarter, but you will know where to look in the actual civil registration films. If my email doesn't make sense, please email me and I'll do a more detailed explanation. She left Ireland for the US about 1886 (don't know if she was accompanied by her parents) and settled in RI. I know it's a long shot because the names are SO common but any help would be appreciated. ==== IRL-GALWAY Mailing List ==== To unsub or change your Irl-Galway mailing mode: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/IRL/IRL-GALWAY.html ============================== New!
