I have a photocopy of the New Zealand marriage register entry of a John Robert LAMBERT, 45, and Jane TINGEY, the date of the marriage being 24 October 1889. John's birthplace is given as Galway, Ireland, his parents being named as William H. LAMBERT, Gentleman, (middle name unclear; looks like Hasmeton) and Theresa Elizabeth LAMBERT, nee TAYLOR. I'm researching the families of LAMBERT of Castle Lambert and of Castle Ellen, both in County Galway, Ireland, so am very keen to know more about the above William and Theresa.
