Having recently started tracing my family history I've found that my great grandparents moved to the Midlands in England in the 2nd half of the 1800's from Tuam in Galway. Being a novice at this kind of thing I'm looking for any help I can find to help trace them I don't even know precisely when they left Tuam and cannot link them directly to the 3 Allen's I have so far found in Tuam. My great Grandparents are Martin Allen and Bridget Allen who according to 1901 census were born in Tuam in 1863/4. I'm having difficulty finding references for them on the earlier census' online and Familysearch.org seems to lead to a different Martin & Bridget Allen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
