If you can do without the final vowel sound in the name, there are North and South versions of Ballynacregg which are a bit closer to Athenry. They are in Cummer civil parish. B. South is just south of Corofin village/small town, while B. North is a couple of miles WNW of B. South, on the western side of the N 17. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
