Thank you Maire and Pete for the time distance between Oranmore and Tuam...I can now see that my ancestors could easily have covered that distance with a horse and cart .Joining this list has given me the interest to restart with my CONNOLLEY ancestors. I gave up at about 1820 in Galway many years ago.
