Not true. There are some records from the church of Ireland still available for Tuam. Most are in the Church of Ireland's Library in Dublin, one or two books are still held locally in St. Mary's Cathedral the largest Church of Ireland Cathedral in the City of Tuam. Copies of most of those records can be found at Ancestry.com or via LDS microfilms. Marriage records for the Church of Ireland are available from about 1860 in Dublin at the Archives offices for Birth, Marriages and Death registrations. Ask for the red books behind information counter if your go in person. Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon" <sharon-j@bigpond.net.au> To: <irl-galway@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 2010 6:24 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-GALWAY] census for Galway 1841 > Gosh, just a tidbit of information and you can be lucky!
