Judging by the LDS descriptions of the various films, looks like the house and field books would be most detailed, as they are organized by barony or parish--generally 8-12 parishes per film. Quarto and rent books are by county, so probably more general. Finally, an LDS catalog question for anyone--some of the films in the catalog begin with VAULT, rather than FHL. Does anyone know what that means? Can such films be rented? Diane
All I know about the Vault is that all their films, records, etc. are stored in the mountains near SLC. I think they can be ordered out of the vault but it takes a few days.
