HI Sheila, We have spoken before, as our ancestors seemed to be from the same places. My Keegan/Stanton family died in or around Dysart, Roscommon where all of their children were born. I did have the opportunity to go to the Ahascragh cemetery a few years ago when I was there. I was unable to read any of the headstones as they were all a real mess. My ggrandmother was born in Ahascragh as well as her husband, my ggrandfather. I wasn't lucky enough to find any clues in that cemetery and not as lucky as well with the church presbery there in Ahascragh. I know my grandmother was probably born there as well, but they wouldn't even give me the time of day. I hit a dead end.
