    1. [IRL-GALWAY] Burkes and O'Connors of Co. Galway

    3. Researching Ann BURKE, wife of Patrick SUTTON. She died in Eyrecourt, Co. Galway circa 1847 leaving at least three children - Honora, Anna and Michael - all who immigrated to the US in the 1840s, first to Pottsville, Penn. and eventually to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ann BURKE SUTTON, may have had a sister Biddy (Bridget) LYONS, who immigrated to the US in mid 1840s and settled first in Pottsville, Penn. She was married to Lawrence LYONS. Also related to this family was Patrick O'CONNOR, born circa 1815 in Ireland, and died in Green Bay, Wisconsin. His wife was Elizabeth, also born in Ireland circa 1827 and died in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
