I have just started to research my husbands family FUERY/FUREY from Loughrea and Ballinasloe and found that the family are famous (Galway Advertiser 2007) 10 Furey boys joined up in 1914 and 7 died. My husbands grandfather was one of the survivors Martin Fuery from Tea Lane Ballinasloe. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I could find their deaths recorded and also as they were in Loughrea for the 1901 and 1911 census (even though they were travellers) they were Roman Catholic so I would assume they would have been baptised. Which church please? Also where can I find the muster rolls of the Connaught Rangers/ thanking any fellow lister who can help me. sharon
