I am researching John Burke (born ca. 1810?) and Annabelle Lydon (or Arabella Lydon), with children Stephen and Sarah, born 1840s. Another wife may have been Bridgett Walsh. It is unconfirmed which woman was the mother of the children. Stephen and Sarah immigrated during the 1860s to Cameron County, Pennsylvania. Annabelle (Lydon) Burke joined them by 1880. I would love to share information with other people researching Burkes in Galway. John, My Burke line is from Ballymaquiff, Ardrahan parish. My great-grandparents were Bernard Burke and Bridget Hynes Burke (later Bridget Dugan).
