Thank you Diane for the information. Although only a few parishes have the dates of Births and Marriages I am looking for it's a start - LDS records (which I can access here in Sth Aus) are a possibility for the ones I have. Can you tell me what the set up is in Ireland please. Do the individual parishes have the records or are they at a central place like the Dublin Archives or even a central Catholic Church Archive. Some of those parishes you gave me the map for mentioned one or the other or nothing so I am assuming there is not a central repository for all of Ireland. Thanks Anne
