I am looking for information on an Edward Clarke who was born around 1820 in Galway. I think he married Bridget Coyne(Kine in Ireland and then emigrated to England. They are on the 1861 Chesterfield, England census along with their children Bridget,Thomas, Catherine, and Michael. My great-grandfather, Edward was born in that year. On the 1871 census a Patrick Clarke, age 34 is lasted as a lodger in their home, possibly Edward Sr's brother? Any help would be appreciated. Judy M.
