Hi Barbara, Yes, that is where I found John Hosty's name listed (1911 census for Castlegar) as the son to Thomas Hosty. When I told my friend that his father was listed in the 1911 census with brothers Martin and William he said "I think that is him because I know he had brothers named Martin and William."
