The familysearch pilot search says John's birth was registered Jan.-March 1904, and by that time registrations generally occurred within a few weeks of the birth, so he might have been born in late 1903. If you want to order the complete registration from the GRO (groireland.ie), it was vol. 4, p. 421. (The nearest other John Hosty registrations in Galway are 1898 and 1920, so if his birth was registered, and most were, probably yours.) Diane
