Can anyone help locate a marriage between a Martin Allen and a Bridget Newell, (not 100% sure of the correct spelling of Bridget or Newell) possibly late 1870's more likely 1880's in Galway possibly Tuam??? I've found a Bridget and Martin Allen on FamilySearch.org and it lists a marriage at Athenry in Abt 1880... but I think this may be wrong as it lists Bridget as buried in Ireland whereas this one died in Leicestershire, England... Anything more concrete would be greatly appreciated.. I am researching Mary Naughton (Norton) b: 17 MAR 1867 in Mount Mary, Ballygar, Galway, Ireland. She came to Monmouth County, New Jersey after 1880 and married Jesse Howland in 1891. She had a brother named Edmond (who lived left Ireland for a while, but returned in 1902) and a sister Margaret (who joined her and Jesse in New Jersey in 1902). I have not yet tracked down her parent's or an exact immigration date.
