Now some family pictures have surfaced coming from both Dublin and Cork. In Dublin we have four pics that appear to have been taken around 1860. The first is a young man. The back is inscribed Charles R.who may be Samuel's older brother, The second appears to be Samuel's father and the third is a young (teenage?) Samuel. The fourth picture is of a sister, Lizzie or Eliza, taken at Chancellor on Lower Sackville St. in Dublin. We also have pictures of Lizzie, Rebecca, and "Mamma" taken in Cork. These seem to have been taken a few years later than the first batch There is another pic of a woman identified as "Auntie H.M. Landray???" All are well dressed ladies. As I surmise from the pics, we have at least two sisters, Elizabeth (Eliza, Lizzie), Rebecca and probably an older brother Charles. Searching around on Ancestry has not gotten me very far. But here these folks are. My confusion grows as parents are only identified as Mamma and Father. Father does look just like Samuel.....but appears to be over 50 in the picture. It is my speculation that Father Rawlins may have passed and mother moved to Cork with the girls.....Perhaps they even ultimately went back to England or remarried. Any ideas would be most helpful. I haven't had much luck on Ancestry.
