    3. Actually I don't think Michael left Ireland. He was probably born around 1824. He was a police constable in Dublin. I think he was in the Royal Irish Constabulary. I know he had two daughters, Mary who died young and unmarried. And Catherine who died young and lost several young children. Both are buried in Calvary Cemetery, near Brooklyn, NY. Michael's wife was Mary MANNING. Michael and Mary lived in Arrans Quay on Tighe Street. Edward Melia was the Lease Holder for the home they were in in 1866. A Mary Melia was sponsor at the Baptism of Michael's daughter Catherine. Unfortunately, Michael has been a mystery, but I hope I am closing in on him. :) Christina
