    3. Alison I may have found something for you. First of all go to the 1901 Census at - http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Merchants_Quay/South_Circular_Road__Dolphins_Barn_/1300281/ where you will find Anne Andrews (Widow - Pawnbroker) with sons with surname HECKETT, which I believe was HACKETT, also a son JOHN ANDREWS. This would indicate that Anne was previously married and I went on to find the registration of a marriage for ANNE HACKETT, in 1880 at Dublin North, 2nd quarter, Vol.2 Page 433. Also found that a JOHN JOSEPH ANDREWS is registered with the same details, which looks as if this is her marriage. It also looks as if JOHN ANDREWS died prior to 1901 Census. Also if you get a copy of the registration of one of the HACKETT sons, you will get Anne's former surname and perhaps go on to find her first marriage. Also if you could find a street directory for Birmingham for about the time of Anne's death you might find her brother's name. I hope this turns out to be your family. Joyce > Hello all. I'm still looking for Annie Andrews: > Weekly Irish Times, Dublin, 05 Apr 1924 DEATHS. > "ANDREWS - March 21, 1924, at her brother's residence, 12 Johnstone st., > Ladywood, Birmingham, Annie Andrews, wife of John Andrews, Pawnbroker, of > 4 Ardee st., also 20 St. Margaret's tce., South Circular rd., Dublin. > Deeply mourned by her sisters and brothers.
