    3. Hello all. (I'm still at a brick wall regarding John Andrews b 1820 or before, probably in Dublin...) Now searching for his children, trying to order the family. Nathaniel (whose birth date is the only one I have, 1838), Adelaide, Frederick, Arthur, John and Eva. Some of these I know quite a lot about, but : John Andrews, b 1838 or 1848 or anywhere in between...is very elusive. This is him, or rather his wife: (I was sent this and don't have access to the Times.) Weekly Irish Times, Dublin, 05 Apr 1924 "DEATHS. ANDREWS-March 21, 1924, at her brother's residence, 12 Johnstone st., Ladywood, Birmingham, Annie Andrews, wife of John Andrews, Pawnbroker, of 4 Ardee st., also 20 St. Margaret's tce., South Circular rd., Dublin. Deeply mourned by her sisters and brothers. R.I.P." She was 84..not found in 1911. I don't know her maiden name. No marriage found. John Andrews was a prosperous pawnbroker from at least 1884 to 1894 with four establishments in Dublin in 1888. (I can access the Freeman's Journal.). I don't know his birth date or place, or his marriage, or his wife. I think he died before 1899. I think she continued to run the pawnbroking business after his death. I have found three children, John, Henrietta and Ann Mary, all born in the early 1880s. Can anyone help? - Alison.
