    3. Springfield still exists as a golf club. My ancestors were founder members and we recently returned some family trophies for their archive. Someone there must be able to give you some more information and an image. My family and the Darleys intermarried. My g grandfather Rutherfoord married Anna Louisa Darley (daughter of Judge Darley and his wife a Guinness heir) all of Fernhill in Kilternan. Fernhill now much as it was with gardens open to the public. I recently tried to find any surviving Darleys in Ireland without success. The people running fernhill may be able to give you some pointers. (fernhill has a website ) Wishing you luck Edward On 29 Sep 2012, at 02:39 AM, Margaret Doyle <johnmaggie11@yahoo.co.uk> wrote: > Google 'The Darley Family+distillery on Ardee street'. I think it changed hands at one time as I knew it as Watkins distillery. They have a cul-de-sac of small cottages in Ardee st, called Watkins cottages by some+Darleys by others. > Now if you google' Springfield golf' + then click on images at the top of your screen, you'll get photos. > I'm not a golf buff, I'm unsure if this relates to Springfield in Tallaght? ( near the mountains). There's a housing estate there. If you google 'houses for sale in Dublin' , then. Put Springfield into the search box, you'll get photos too. > Maggie > > On 29 Sep 2012, at 08:00, irl-dublin-city-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
