    3. Hello Marion I am sorry to say that I can't take the credit for transcribing the headstone on which it records the death of your Great Uncle. This was done by my good friend, Yvonne Russell, who concentrates on headstones at Mount Jerome Cemetery. I do the same for Deansgrange Cemetery. I know she will be pleased to read your note to the List - our reward is in knowing that we have helped someone with their family research. Regarding a Will, I don't know the situation with regard to Wills for around 1921 - I think most would have been lost in 1992. However, there are Probate Indexes/Books at the National Archives in Dublin, and these give details of Probates/Administrations granted. The details recorded are usually - where Probate was granted, the name of the person/s to whom Probate was granted and the amount of the Effects. Hopefully someone else knows more about the survival of Wills around 1921 period. I hope you also had a lovely Christmas and that 2013 brings lots more "finds" for your family tree.
