Hi everyone, I am new to this list and looking for information on Hugh KING who in the 1860's was living in Dublin (city) where 3 of his children were born. Does a city directory for the 1860's or 1870's exist? And if anyone has a copy would they please do a look-up? All I know about him is that he was a teacher, wife's name was Catherine BODEN/BODIN/BOLAND and he was still alive in about 1910. Thanks! Gay
The National Library of Ireland NLI, Pearce St Dublin has 'red books', which are professional directories similar to the modern day yellow pages trades directories. maybe someone in Dublin can have a look for you. The NLI don't have every year (from memory).
