Please know I certainly was not asking for anyone to do me a favour. I would love nothing better than to hop on a plane to Dublin, however that is not possible. I was simply asking if anyone knew if the Dublin Library provides a research service [for a fee obviously] or if anyone knew of a local person who would do lookup [again presumably for a fee]. Not sure what was vague about that... How do you know the records are at the Dublin City Library, for instance? What are the records you wish to research? That's what I meant by vague. A reference at the Dublin City Library could lead to the National Library or the National Archives or who knows where else. It's a real round robin. You're better off doing it yourself. The complete entries can be accessed in the Dublin City Library & Archive, Pearse Street, Dublin." I had already checked the databases before my original post and found some Reddin references i am intersted in, as I said. Thank you for posting the link in the first place.
