Hi Your best bet is to order the marriage this will give you his father's name only not mother's. See who the witnesess are, also what address they gave. Then order the 1911 census for that addess & see if they are living there. Sometimes they stayed in the same house for a long time, but I also had a lot that moved all the time. Do you have the year, place vol & page number for the marriage? to be able to get the marriage from them. You can also to ask for a photocpy which will be cheaper, I think 4 euro.
