I went back over the e-mails around Christmas and noticed someone posted for a Flanagan. My gggrandfather born Nov 1822 or his father was born in Dublin, Ireland according to the stories handed down. Our name was supposed to be Flanagan originally and then changed to Brown as the person fled Dublin, Ireland after steeling a horse. I have read in a book many years ago that Flanagan's changed their name to Brown in situations like this. Does anyone have a Flanagan like this one?
