I have just typed up and sent to the Irish Tombstone and Cemetery list the necesary data on all graveyards in the Dublin area, Burial and Death records were burnt in the 1922 fire yes, earlier gravestones are under the church and the remaining ones are on the wall, and no the RCB do not hold the records for these, there is a publication that holds further information called Saint Andrew's Church Dublin 1171-1916 By R Northbridge it is a short review and not dated -- this may well be discovered at the RCB or the National Library in Dublin But for those of you seeking this data, on gravestone, burial and death records, the postings are there in the archives for all to see, I did not cross post them to the Dublin lists simply because, of the bulk of mail it generates as there is at least 30 mails linked to this progect. Look in the archives for further details and then look under over view of Dublin Graveyards etc to see what further details you can glean or where to get them from http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/IRELAND-CEMETERIES/ http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/IRL-TOMBSTONE-INSCRIPTIONS/ They are among the last mails posted Anthony would you like the whole list as an attachment for further references for your list Cara -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web LIVE – Free email based on Microsoft® Exchange technology - http://link.mail2web.com/LIVE

Sorry if my post was misleading, I was not suggesting that the RCB had the tombstone records - just that any baptism, marriages or death records that survive would be at the RCB Again thanks Anthony
