Flo, I echo your comment about the years of frustration - it wasn't until I joined my local genealogical society that someone steered me in the right direction to find my Irish Palatine roots on my father's paternal side. So I would be remiss not to suggest that you add the following website: www.irishpalatines.org The Palatines came from Germany circa 1709-1715 and settled mostly in Limerick and Wexford.
