    3. Good morning Valerie: [ If you require any more information please contact me directly at [email protected]] Ah yes I remember Mt Jerome Cemtery very well. This cemetery is also the repository of the St Thomas Anglican Cemetery and Church in northern Dublin which were ordered removed by the City of Dublin to make way for a public housing project. The headstones, monuments and mausloeums were used for landfill and the bodies which were removed were bagged and placed in an old mausoleum at Mt Jerome for burial later. I was surprised to see that you have access to the records from the City which were only available if you visited the City records department directly. If you have access to this index would you please let me know if Thomas Macklin and his wife who were buried there [St Thomas Cemtery - moved to Mt Jerome] along with the rest of his family. To what extent do you have access to the Civil Registrations and would it include the Civil Death Records from 1863 forward. All the best to our friends in Australia Eric Macklin Canada

    3. Microfilms of the Irish civil registrations of birth and death from 1864 and marriage from 1845 can be ordered into, and are available to be inspected at, the church of the Latter Day Saints (LDS) family history centres. Anyone may avail of them and such family history centres are to be found in most major cities worldwide. There might be one close to you? Debby Raymond Queensland, Australia.

    3. Whilst in Ireland I attended a Graveyard and Stone talk and discovered that the bodies that have been bagged are not to be re-buried, and if you are going to ask me where, then you will have to wait until, I bring out my notes on that fact. Cheers Cara
